Following in the footsteps of his father, Rev. Nathan R. Prather accepted the calling of God, to minister the gospel, in his early twenties. He started his ministry here at the Apostolic Church of Wasson, worked alongside his father as his Assistant, and in 2016 was installed as the Full-time Pastor.

Pastor Prather grew up and resides in Saline County. He not only followed in his father’s footsteps with his ministry but also in his line of work. Pastor Prather is a Union Carpenter for Ron Gobin Enterprises, Murphysboro, IL.

If there’s one way to describe our Pastor; he is a true man of God with a passion for souls. If you are around Pastor Prather very long you find that his heartbeat is seeing souls saved and reaching the communities in Saline County.

Pastor Prather married the love of his life, Rachael (Cluster) Prather, in September of 2001. They have one daughter, Allie. They all three love working for the Kingdom of God and doing all they can do to make the Apostolic Church of Wasson the best it can be!
